The P-47D THUNDERBOLT, A.K.A, RAZORBACK JUG. The most rugged fighter plane of WWII, known as "The Unbreakable". Beloved by pilots, and PAPER AIR FORCE for being able to absorb untold amounts of punishment, and still fly its pilot home. There are accounts of Luftwaffe planes emptying their entire arsenal of on-board ammo into The Jug, and having to give up and quit the fight, as "The Unbreakable"was still flying.  All the way home. The P-47 THUNDERBOLT was the fastest, most lethal, most heavily armored, most indestructible fighter plane of WWII. Nevermind that it was not as agile as some others - it didn't need to be. With its fearsome eight fifty-calibers, incredible dive rate, high speed, and high rate of climb, the P-47's dove on their prey with all guns blazing. If they missed, they simply dove away with their superior speed, and went around again. No need to stick around and play. But, they did not miss. Only 7 pilots in 1,000 were lost in combat flying P-47 THUNDERBOLTS. The largest produced fighter aircraft of WWII.   

The mighty P-51D MUSTANG needs no introduction. Arguably the best dog-fighter of WWII, it was the state of the art in aerial combat. Extremely maneuverable, the P-51 was pushed to the limit by its brave pilots. The perfect package of six fifty-calibers, Merlin engine, bubble canopy, and long range capability. Packed with fuel, the P-51 could stick around and fight. And it could chase you all the way to Berlin - and back. Pilots said they didnt so much sit in the P-51 - they strapped it on. A truly agile and fearsome fighting machine.  

"Whistling Death". So called by the Japanese in WWII, unlucky targets of the Vought F4U Corsair. Affectionately known as the "Bent Wing Bird" by its courageous pilots, the Corsair dominated the Pacific Theatre throughout the war. Used to famously devastating effect by VMF-214, "The Black Sheep" squadron, the Corsair was rugged, fast, lethal, and more than a match for its nemesis - the Japanese A6M ZERO.

All American fighter at the outset of WWII. Just two lone P-40 WARHAWKS managed to get airborne over the skies of Pearl Harbor, December 7th, 1941 - a date which will live in infamy. Made famous by the courageous men of the All Volunteer Group in China before the war, the Curtiss P-40 had an impressive kill record against the nimble Japanese ZERO. Using specialized tactics, the famous shark-toothed livery was adopted, and the Flying Tigers were airborne. It is possible that there is no cooler looking piece of history.  

None too pretty, maybe, but made to assist with an introduction to the world of serious rubber power. The Streakers are durable and come with all the necessary trappings of sophisticated rubber powered models; removeable nose blocks, a blast tube as a fuselage, a place to hold the nose weight, a prop lock, an easily adjustable wing, full control surfaces, and even a cutting edge "wobble mount" - all made of paper and card!  Made for experiment and tinkering.  The perfect platform to test your large braided motor and prop combos; a blowout and snarl up will be no problem.  Experiment with setting CG, wing angles, control surfaces, noseweight, and more.  The streakers can absorb all your newby mistakes before taking your knowledge to an airplane that took much, much longer to build.  Removeable ski style gear.  Available in 3 sizes: 15.6 inch wing, 21 inch wing, and 30 inch wing.
